I do not live in the US, so the answer is sadly no.
my friend and I are thinking of travelling around Europe next summer. how's Vienna for two nearly 18 y/os, should we give it a visit?

I think you should give Vienna a chance :) Well, it’s not a London, that’s for sure but after visiting Budapest&Bratislava, I felt that I came back home when I returned to this city. I don’t know which country you’re from but Vienna surely represents civilization and elegance. Go around Hofburg Palace, visit Schönbrun, have a nap in the gardens of National Library, have Sachertorte and melange in Cafe Sacher and if you’re a Christian, light a candle in Stephansdom and stroll by Danube. If you have enough time or luck (or both), attend a concert. You won’t regret a damn thing.
By the way DO visit Prague, it’s even better than Paris :)
Dearest, loveliest Elizabeth! What do I not owe you! You taught me a lesson, hard indeed at first, but most advantageous. By you, I was properly humbled. I came to you without a doubt of my reception. You showed me how insufficient were all my pretensions to please a woman worthy of being pleased.

“Big question, but to me, van Gogh is the finest painter of them all; certainly the most popular great painter of all time: The most beloved; his command of colour; the most magnificent. He transformed the pain of his tormented life into ecstatic beauty. Pain is easy to portray, but to use your passion and pain to portray the ecstasy and joy and magnificence of our world… no one had ever done it before. Perhaps no one ever will again. To my mind that strange wild man who roamed the fields of Provence was not only the world’s greatest artist, but also one of the greatest men who ever lived.”
